Triathlon Shop and Bike Tech for the 2008 Ford Ironman 70.3 Hawaii Triathlon.
Get your bicycle to the Big Island and get it ready to ride
in either one of TWO WAYS:
TO
THE HOST HOTEL!
If you're staying at the Mauna Lani or nearby, ship your
bike to the Ford Ironman 70.3 Bike Works Store at the Mauna Lani. Assembly, bike tech service and post
race shipping available all race week through Sunday June
1, except: Closed Race Day to volunteer for the race!.Click

TO BIKE WORKS IN KAILUA-KONA!
Kailua is Kona's Hometown, located about 30 miles South
of the race start. If you're staying in town, nearby,
or arriving early, ship your bike to Bike Works. Click

Once you
choose where you'll be shipping, you will be able to choose

Unpack,
Assemble and Tune

Package
includes:
- Unpack
bicycle
- Assemble
bicycle to customer's geometry specifications:
Include saddle height measurement, saddle set back,
handlebar height, etc.)
- Tune
Up:
- adjust
brakes

derailleurs
- check/adjust
all bearings surfaces (headset, bottom bracket,
hubs)

Note!
- Please
include any special instructions (i.e. replacement
of tires, cables, brake pads)
- Price
does not include parts or any additional labor needed.
- Please
include your name and phone number on the case AND
on the bike, and the day you would like to pick
up your bike. Bikes will be assembled according
to priority of pick up date

Disassemble
and Pack for Shipment
$55, or $65 if box needed
Package
includes:
- Bicycle
Disassembly after the race.
- Package
Bike using the safest/most effective packing
materials available to ensure no frame or parts damage.
- Pack
bike into UPS approved size cardboard box -- or customer's
case, if provided.
- Packaging
will be based on priority of customer departure.

Shipping

Package
includes:
- All
handling and processing of paperwork
- Ground
Shipment via UPS from Kona to any continental U.S. state
- Up
to $2000 insurance included. Additional insurance is available and will be payed by the customer.
Note!
- Any
excess charges for packages considered oversize
by UPS will be charged to the customer.
- Ground
service guarantees package arrival within 7-10 working
days from shipment
- Tracking
numbers will be available within 4 days of drop
off of bicycle. Customers are responsible for contacting
Bike Works for any shipping information.
- All
shipping is done on a first come, first served basis.
2nd Day Air, or Priority Overnight services are
available at the extra cost of the service to the
customer

Receive
and Store bicycle in Kailua-Kona

Package
includes:
- Receive
packaged bike
- Label
package with all applicable information
- Store
package up to Friday before the race
Note!
- Customer
is responsible for all shipping charges to Bike
Works Kona location.
- Any
storage post race will incur additional charges
- Packages
may be delivered to race site for an additional
$50. Date and time of delivery must be included
on outside of package.

Complete
Race Package

includes:
- Receiving
and storage of package until assembly of bicycle.
- Complete
assembly and tune up of bicycle.
- Disassembly
and packaging of bike after the race.
- Shipment
of package via UPS ground service from Kona to any continental U.S. state. (Up to $2000 insurance included. Additional insurance available.)
